  THE STORY SO FAR...

JC Explores is a channel and movement born out of my love for travel, which includes the globe-trotting food scene, ultramodern architecture and must-see destinations around the world. From climbing an active Volcano in Nicaragua, to scuba diving with Sharks in the Maldives, I love to share my experiences and inspire others!

However, through these Adventures, not to mention the recent Pandemic, I’ve also gone on to discover a great deal of hidden history by exploring the often forgotten, secret and almost inaccessible British locations as they have rarely been seen before.

Born and brought up in South Wales, I have spent much of my time working as a Broadcaster in both Radio and Television as well as a columnist in Print.

However, prior to this, I spent over 10 years with RAF Cadets where as a Flying Officer I led expeditions across the UK, helped train and assess the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, and would often travel on overseas expeditions and camps including Gibraltar and Akrotiri.

From the world renowned four day Nijmegan Marches in the Netherlands to exploring the secretive tunnels inside the Rock of Gibraltar, much of this travel sparked my curiosity from an early age and led to a greater awareness of new customs, cultures, people and places.

This authenticity remains as important now as it did back then and remains my focus when planning my next trip, collaborating with travel brands and inspiring people around the world to pack their own bags and create amazing experiences.
